About MediaByte

MediaByte was founded in 2021 by a small team of infrastructure engineers who were tired of paying for global capacity they never used. Instead of chasing continent counts, we built six edges across five countries — Finland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Czechia and Russia — and kept the operation lean enough that the same people who designed the network are the ones who answer when something breaks.

We work with a handful of clients directly rather than through a self-serve signup form. If that sounds like a fit, get in touch.

Privacy

We log connection metadata required for delivery and abuse prevention (source IP, request path, timestamps, response codes) and retain it for 30 days. We do not sell traffic data to third parties. Requests regarding data we hold about you can be sent to hello@mediabyte.tech.

Terms

Service is provided on a direct commercial agreement basis. We aim for high availability across our PoPs but do not publish a blanket uptime SLA outside of individual client contracts — reach out if you need one in writing.

Acceptable use

Our network may not be used to deliver content that infringes third-party rights, distribute malware, or violate the law of the jurisdictions we operate in (Finland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Czechia, Russia). We act on abuse reports sent to noc@mediabyte.tech.
